McKenzie, Tenn.–The McKenzie Farmers Market will be hosting the United Way Book Bus this Saturday morning and a seed-planting activity will be held.
The ladies with the Carroll County Agriculture Department will organize the seed-planting come-and-go activity from 9 a.m. to 11 a.. The children get to take home their planted flower or vegetabe.
The book bus will be traveling to Carroll, Henry, and Weakley Counties this summer, with free books for the children.
The McKenzie Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and from 3-6 p.m. Tuesdays.
