Obion County, Tenn.–Keaton Yates, a graduate of Obion County Central High School, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin’s Summer Orientation And Registration (SOAR) event May 20 with his mother, Kayla Yates of Union City. SOAR is a one-day orientation experience that is designed to introduce first-time students to UT Martin and ease the transition into college life.
