Paris, Tenn.–At a special reveal of The Levi Miles Foundation’s Inclusive Playground Design late last week, members of the community were treated to a sneak peak at the design of the state-of-the-art playground. The playground will be located at Ogburn Park in Paris.
At the event, attendees were able to see the design of this state-of-the-art playground as they walk through the playground’s design at the park.
The Levi Miles Foundation was founded for the purpose of providing support and resources to children with disabilities and rare diseases, as well as to promote acceptance and inclusion of all individuals within our communities. The vision and compassion for these children comes from the relationship David and Shayna Miles were blessed to share with Levi Michael Miles.
The Foundation has partnered with The City of Paris to provide this playground where children of all ages, from crawling on up, a place where everyone can play on every piece of equipment, side by side. The design of this playground has received a Certificate of Inclusivity from Let Kids Play and will be the only playground in Tennessee with this certification.
The cost of this playground is $2,500,000 in which funds for this project are being raised by The Levi Miles Foundation. To learn more about the playground and The Levi Miles Foundation, please visit thelevimilesfoundation.org.
