Billy Darrell “Tripp” Wilson, III, 42, of Henry, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
Tripp was born Saturday, March 13, 1982, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Billy Darrell Wilson, Jr., and Suzanne Lawson Wilson, who survives, of Henry, Tennessee. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother: Eric Wilson; and grandparents: Bill Wilson, Freda Wilson, and Dr. J.D. and Sarah Lawson, II.
He formerly worked for Amazon in Nashville, Tennessee, and Tecumseh in Paris.
Tripp enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for his mother.
He loved being outdoors, walking, and listening to music.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his daughter: Kelsie Crosby, of North Carolina; his son: Kane Crosby, of North Carolina; his stepmother: Mary Wilson, of Puryear, Tennessee; two sisters: Trish Wilson, of Howard, Ohio, and Amanda (Erik) Dunn, of Puryear, Tennessee; two aunts: Laurie (Kevin) Key, of Puryear, Tennessee, and Karen (Wayne) Scott, of Henry, Tennessee; and longtime family friend: Becky Singleton.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
The body is to be cremated.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
