Time To Jam: Tennessee River Jam Starts Thursday

Paris, Tenn. – The much-anticipated Tennessee River Jam is back, starting Thursday, May 30th, and running through Sunday, June 2nd. This year’s event promises an unforgettable experience with live music, delicious food, and vibrant community spirit, according to Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Rachel Steedly.

The festival will kick off on Thursday, May 30th, with a performance by Johnny Mac at Blues Landing.

On Friday, May 31st, attendees can enjoy a variety of bands performing at multiple locations including Dew Drop In (Ray Lewis Band), Eiffel Tower Park (Almost Famous), Blues Landing (Early Roman Kings), and The Breakers Marina (Rockin’ Randall). One of the highlights of the festival, the sold-out Songwriters Night, will also take place at the Crown Event Center in downtown Paris on Friday. 

Saturday, June 1st, features the main event in Downtown Paris, with DJ Good News starting the party at 1 PM and live music starting at 3 PM. Local acts The Shoemakers and Josh McKee will perform, followed by the much-anticipated reunion of Special Request. Headliners Little Texas will take the stage at 7 PM, followed by Sister Hazel at 9 PM.

The 2023-2024 Henry County Leadership Class will be recognized on stage at 3:45 PM, and the annual Chamber Awards will be announced at 4:45 PM.

Food trucks will be available offering a wide array of delicious food and beverages, and attendees can set up their chairs starting at noon to secure the best spots for an afternoon of fantastic performances. Additional bands will perform at The Breakers, Dew Drop In, and Blues Landing throughout the day. The celebration will continue late into the night with an after-party at LL’s. 

The festival will wrap up on Sunday, June 2nd, with a final performance at Dew Drop In.
