Attention West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Members:
“Throughout the day yesterday we were able to decrease the number of members without power by half. We started the day with 8,889 members without power and reduced that number to 4,379. Today, 30 more workers have shown up to offer mutual aid assistance. We currently have crews assisting from 12 different cooperatives and electric companies from around the region, state and even from out of state. WKRECC would like to remind our members that we are working as fast and as safely as possible. It is all hands on deck again today, and we expect to make good progress. We will continue to post updates as work and repairs continue today. Below is a picture from one of our crews working to replace a pole in Calloway County. “
