Gibson Electric Membership Corp. started this morning with 224 members’ homes and businesses still without power and 48 outage trouble spots. That’s down from 2,777 whose power was restored Sunday. Officials said, “We expect to make good progress today. Please help our lineworkers stay safe by slowing down and moving over where you see them working. We will continue to provide updates.” They have been helped by Pickwick Electric, Forked Deer Electric, Tennessee Valley Electric, Service Electric and Cruse Powerline. “We will get service restored to everyone as soon as we safely can,” they said.
