Bradley “Scott” Martin

Bradley “Scott” Martin, 53, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Jackson, Tennessee, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. 

He was born Tuesday, September 8, 1970, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Joan “Joni” L. Ragland Martin and Ed Martin, who survives, of Jackson, Tennessee.

Scott, as he preferred to be called, was known for being fun, outgoing, a little mischievous, and always sporting a smile. 

He was a graduate of Henry County High School and never missed listening to or watching a high school football game. 

After high school, he attended Community Developmental Services in Martin. 

Then Scott went into the Family Model Program, where he lived with Rebecca Campbell and her family in their home where they cared for him. 

He enjoyed doing arts and crafts, collecting Tennessee memorabilia, riding horses at Reinbow Riding Academy, watching sports, attending concerts, and going to ballgames. 

His favorite football teams were the Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans. He was absolutely their biggest fan.

He loved going on vacation every year, specifically to the beach. 

Scott was always up for a new adventure. 

Besides his father: Ed, Scott was also survived by one sister: Melanie Bell, of Paris, Tennessee; one brother: Todd (Christina) Martin, of Franklin, Tennessee; and five nieces and nephews: Hunter (Olivia Mayoza) Bell, Brandon (Zoe) Martin, Willow Martin, Hawk Hostetter, and Falcon Hostetter.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee. 

Visitation was at Ridgeway Funeral Home Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Cremation followed the visitation.
