
Paris, Tenn.–Tara Wilson has been named the new Executive Director for the local Main Street organization, the Downtown Paris Association. The Downtown Paris Association Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve Ms. Wilson to replace interim Director, Jennifer Morris.
Wilson has served as Assistant director for the Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee since 2015. She will continue to serve in that capacity along with her duties as DPA Executive Director. Her DPA duties will begin effective July 1.
A graduate of Murray State University, Tara and her husband Mike have two children, Braxton and Alex. Tara is very active in Paris and Henry County serving on multiple boards consisting of the Paris Henry County Chamber of Commerce, County and City Planning Commissions, Foster Care Review Board and Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Prevention Board.

The vision of the Downtown Paris Association is to revitalize and always maintain the rich history of our downtown and community, to educate our children and the community of the rich history of architecture and business, creating a thriving retail, service, and social area for this community for future generations.
