Paris, Tenn.–The opening of the Henry County Farmers Market and Vendor Fair will be held Monday, May 20, and there will be some changes for this year.
Opening time is 7:30 a.m. at the Farmers Market pavilion at the county fairgrounds.
Robin Brown said, “We have changed our days and times for this year to try to accommodate the community. We will also be holding a market on Thursday afternoons for 3 pm to 5:30 pm.”
Several of the vendors from last year will be join us again for the 2024 season: Uriah’s Loyal dog treats, Hidden Acres Homestead with all the wonderful baked goods, soup mixes and breads; Big Booty Bouncin’ Biscuits with their cookies that are a “be sure not to miss” taste treat; Beth Benson will have her plant and vegetable starts to assist you on your home garden and flower beds; Farmapeutic LLC with homemade candles and body butters.
Brown said, “Some of our regular crowd favorite vendors such as 2 Guys and a Gilt, sausage products, Dream Wood Farms, with fresh vegetables and flowers, and Springhill Family Pastures with their free-range chicken and homemade cinnamon rolls will be joining us as soon as their schedules allow.”
Two new features at this year’s Farmers Market are the Mini Library with a selection of adult and children’s books available to take home and read. We are accepting donations of books to replenish our shelves.
The Market Mile is a marked 1-mile walking path on paved surface. Both of these are open and available to the public any time the Farmers Market is open.
They still have room for additional vendors if anyone would like to join them. They can be reached on Facebook: Henry County TN Farmers Market & Vendor Fair or email: hctnfarmersmarket@gmail.com
