Paris, Tenn.–No matter the weather, tonight’s Henry County High School graduation ceremony will be held and it will be livestreamed for those watching from home.

HCHS Principal Michele Webb said, “As we have continued to watch the forecast, we have decided to go ahead and set up both Patriot Stadium (for an outdoor ceremony) and Gamlin Gym (in case needed for an indoor ceremony).”

The ceremony is set for 7:30 p.m.

A total of 321 students will be graduated, which marks it as one of the biggest classes HCHS has had in years, Webb said.

The goal is to have the ceremony at Patriot Stadium. “We will not make a decision to move indoors unless it is absolutely necessary, but no later than 5 pm (due to the time it takes for sound system set-up),” Webb said.

Our radio stations will livestream the ceremonies, regardless of whether it is held outside or indoors.

Today will be a full day for seniors. Students are to check-in at Gamlin Gym at 10 am Friday for Graduation Day activities which include door prizes, Last Lunch, Practice, and more. Any student who needs help with clothing for graduation is asked to let school officials know ASAP. “We’ll be glad to assist,” Webb said.
**If a student needs help with clothing for graduation, please do not hesitate to let us know ASAP. We’ll be glad to assist.
School officials emphasize: At this time, our plan is to have graduation at Patriot Stadium. In essence, we will have two locations prepared, and the weather will determine which location we need to use.
Webb said, “Please keep in mind that we will keep you updated if plans change. Our two ways of communication will be through the parent email and the HCHS Facebook page (Henry County High School – Paris, Tennessee). Please be cautious of social media posts unless they come officially from us on our official page. “
