Union City Middle School spring sports teams recently completed their respective seasons with several athletes lauded at banquets or with postseason honors.

The UCMS tennis programs celebrated a pair of 6-1 seasons, with head coach Maddie Britt acknowledging her top six seeds, each team’s 8th graders, and handing out achievement awards.

Jake Lattus and Maddie Bailey were recognized for going undefeated during the season, while William Tohn earned the Coach’s Award.

In baseball, four Tornado players were honored for their regular season play with NWMSAA All-Conference accolades after the Tornadoes completed a 10-8 campaign that included seven consecutive wins to begin the year.

The UCMS soccer program enjoyed a banquet during which head coach Jason Deem handed out several awards.
