Dorena-Hickman Ferry Closed Due To Storm Debris

The Dorena-HIckman Ferry is closed due to drift blocking the Kentucky Landing.  The ferry halted service about Noon, today.

Recent heavy rains have washed debris into area rivers and into Hickman Harbor.  Rising waters and an accumulation of drift at the Kentucky Landing has forced the ferry to halt operation for the remainder of today.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry will attempt to resume service on the regular summer schedule at 7 a.m., Saturday.
