Willie F. Williams, age 84 of Paris passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab Center in Huntingdon, TN.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, May 10th at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Trent Bullock of First Baptist Church officiating. A burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, May 9th, and after noon on Friday, May 10th, all at McEvoy Funeral Home, 507 W. Washington Street in Paris.
Willie F. Williams was born August 2, 1939, in Clarksburg, TN to the late William Luther and Alice Mae Chester Williams. On December 13, 1958, he married Bessie Virginia Lee Williams, and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2012.
Willie is survived by two sons: Jerry Williams (Debbie Cyr) of Russellville, AR, and Michael Williams of Henry, TN; five grandchildren: Eric Williams (Jessica), Heather Williams, Michael Ray Williams (Amy), Bryan Williams (Tanya), and Bruce Williams (Jennifer); thirteen great-grandchildren: Addison Taylor, Kaleb Williams, Landon Williams, Haylee Williams, Madison Williams, Bailey Williams, Jackson Williams, Jayden Williams; Cody Long, Hayden Long, Taylor Renfroe, Presley Langford, and Charlie Langford; daughter, Tina Deeter of Springville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, Willie was also preceded in death by a son, Willie F. Williams, Jr.; two sisters: Hattie Mae Rush and Mattie Bennett; and three brothers: James, Luther, and Bobby Williams.
Mr. Williams was a Baptist by Faith.
Pallbearers for Mr. Williams will be Eric Williams, Bruce Williams, Michael Ray Williams, Bryan L. Williams, Randy Ellis, and Glenn Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Deeter and Steve Porter.
