High-voltage transmission crews with the Tennessee Valley Authority continue assessing and repairing damaged transmission towers and lines after strong storms in middle Tennessee and western Kentucky. Middle Tennessee was hard hit by Wednesday’s round of storms, especially Maury County, where one person is confirmed deceased. At a press conference this morning, Maury County officials said a massive tornado cut a two-mile swath through the county yesterday. At this time they are requesting civilians stay away from the affected area and allow law enforcement to work diligently and without interruption. (TVA photo).
