Murray, Ky.–Todd Hill and his Orchestra will present their fifth annual Mother’s Day Concert at Murray First United Methodist Church at 2:30pm Sunday, May 12. This year the concert will be a poignant one, since it will be performed in honor of Hill’s mother, Jane Hill, passed away earlier this month.

The big band is in its 41st year and will feature Kayla Marie Little on vocals, the leader on piano, Derek Jones on clarinet and alto saxophone, Andy Brown on tenor sax, Bo Clayton on trumpet, John Madole on drums along with thirteen more pro jazzmusicians from throughout the region.

The concert is free, and will be performed to raise funds through a love offering for the church’s Choral Scholars Program which assists Murray State music students with their studies in exchange for serving in the Chancel Choir at FUMC, all while learning to serve as church leaders themselves.

Dr. Hill said, “It doesn’t matter how many of the concerts you’ve attending before, this show will pack a lot of new material for you that you haven’t seen or heard before, including a centenary salute to the Roaring 20s, a World War II Tribute, and many more surprises along the way. Come enjoy a remarkable afternoon of music with your whole family!”
