Henry County Tornado Shelters will be opening at 5pm and remain until the tornado threat has dimmished. Henry County Sheriffs Dept and Paris Police Dept will be monitoring shelters, according to County EMA Director Ron Watkins.
Opening at 5pm will be :
· Inman School – Harrison Street, Paris-
• Harrellson School- County Club Rd, Puryear
• Lakewood School- US Hwy 79 N, Buchanan/Paris Landing/Springville
• Henry School- Pioneer Rd, Henry
• Cottage Grove City Hall, Church Street, Cottage Grove.
Persons should bring their own folding chair and charged cell phone. No animals will be allowed. This could be an extended event so persons should prepare accordingly.
