Truck & Boat Trailer Pulled Out Of Kentucky Lake

Calloway County, Ky.–A truck and boat trailer were pulled out of Kentucky Lake in Calloway County but no one was inside.
On Thursday at approximately 6  am Calloway County Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the 700 block of Lakeway Drive near Kentucky Lake to a boat dock for a vehicle in the water. The Fire & Rescue Swift Water Rescue Team was activated to respond to the scene to assist.
Dispatch advised responding units that there was nobody in the vehicle or vessel, and that it was just a boat trailer and a truck in the water. Upon arrival of the units, CCFR Firefighter and Swift Water Rescue team member Westin Tolley assisted the tow truck operator by getting in the water to hook up the truck to be pull out of the lake. No injuries were reported.
CCFR responded with one truck with our swift water boats and four firefighters who were on scene for approximately an hour and a half. CCFR was assisted on scene by Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and Paul’s Towing.
An investigation is ongoing.
