At the Monday, April 1 Obion County Central School Board Meeting, at Ridgemont, the board recognized an “Outstanding Alumni” : Jeriana Gore.

She graduated from OCCHS in 2014 and graduated from UT Martin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2019.

“I am currently the Treasury Management Relationship Assistant for Commercial Bank and Trust,” Gore said. “I oversee the business accounts within Commercial Bank that utilize our treasury products. My goal is to oversee the Treasury Management Department within Commercial Bank and I would like to be a part of our board/management team.”

Gore is also currently a member of the 23-24 Obion County Adult Leadership Class. She is the project leader this year.

Last year, after the Resource Fair, we received a grant from the Gibson Electric Membership Corporation, that we did not apply for and was awarded to the district based off the impact they saw it made in our community. The grant was awarded to help fund the event. It was a huge honor and with their financial aid and the efforts of Jeriana and her class, the 2nd Annual Resource Fair is to be held this Thursday from 5-8 at the fairgrounds and we are so excited to watch how this event truly does affect the lives of families in our county and district.

Gore did not shy away from this incredibly huge project and watching her dedication and commitment to improving Obion County makes her the perfect recipient for Outstanding Alumni recognition.
