Christy Lynn Acres, 43, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home.
She was born Sunday, May 11, 1980, in Russellville, Kentucky, to Michael Eugene Blankenship and Cynthia Annette Harris Blankenship.
Christy enjoyed riding motorcycles.
She worked at VFW Post 4730.
She was a member faithful servant and member of Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She sang in the church choir and played the bells.
Christy was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, sister and aunt who was always proud of her children.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband: David Jason Acres; and brothers: David Wayne Blankenship and Jacob Michael Blankenship.
Christy is survived by her mother: Cynthia Blankenship; children: Dylan Acres, Daniel Acres, and Caleb Acres; siblings: Michael Blankenship, Glenn Materi, Lisa Greenwood, Angel Baumann, and Michelle Shepherd; and mother-in-law: Vickie Acres.
Visitation for Christy will be Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Stewart County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Ronnie Burgess officiating.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Materi, Michael Blankenship, Cody Blankenship, Jackson Gambrel, Chris Dodson, and David Norville.
