Union City, Tenn.–There are many new faces in the Union City High School Beta Club.
Induction ceremonies for more than 40 new members were recently held, with new club officers also installed for the group. A reception for inductees and their parents was held after the program.
Edie Rodgers is the 2024-25 club president, with Addison Kitchen named as vice president. Myranda Carr was chosen as the club secretary.
Among the new members are Jaclyn Allmon, Andrew Beard, Annie Burcham, Layton Courtright, Jenna Kate Cross, Uriah Davis, Kasey Ellis, Arianna Gear, Harrison Gray, Cole Gurley, Tabor Hall, Isaac Hardy, and Nathaniel Hawks.
Ben Howell, Rori Howell, Chloe Hubbard, Jaxson Jones, Kobe Kirk, Evan Kwan, Ryan Kwan, Jorge Lopez, Tristan Lynch, Gavin McGuire, Briley Kate McKinney, Adrian McKinnie, Blair McKinnis, and Emma Mobbs were also inducted.
The new group also included Ja’Miyah Morris, Madison Pate, Arnav Rajwadi, Foster Rodgers, Grant Sinclair, Morgan Speed, Kinley Steele, Zakary Summers, Edie Tanner, Paul Martin Tohn, Britton Tully, Allie Vincent, Christian Weaver, Kylie Willcutt, Allyson Beaman, Jaime Becton, Claire Frilling, Beto Martinez, Edie Rodgers, Daisy Sanchez, Addison Kitchen, and Myranda Parr.
The large majority of new inductees are freshmen.
Pending projects for the group include work with the Obion County Public Library and the Obion County Fall Fest.
Teachers Brian Conner and Rob Wiggins are club sponsors.
