
Paris, Tenn.–Co-Founders of the Global Citizen Adventure Corps, a West Tennessee nonprofit focused on providing travel service learning opportunities to students and community members – primarily from rural and economically disadvantaged areas– addressed members of the Paris Rotary on March 21. Julie Hill, (standing left) and Stacie Freeman (center) were introduced by Mark Archer, Paris Rotary President Elect and Henry County 911 Director. The two academics, business leaders, and philanthropic entrepreneurs launched Global Citizen Adventure Corps less than two years ago and have already helped almost 100 individuals experience service abroad. They shared their mission and vision with the group and outlined ways in which the two organizations’ support of the community aligned.
