Paris, Tenn.–Some 400 trees were given away Thursday at the annual “Rooted In Paris” event sponsored by the city of Paris. Thursday was Tennessee Tree Day and trees that were given away included the American plum, Bald Cypress, Eastern redbud, cherrybark, Oak, White Oak, Willow Oak, pecan and river birch.
