Tickets are on sale for the appearance at the Krider Performing Arts Center by Killer Beaz later this month. Beaz is a nationally touring comedian and host of A&E’s “Moonshiners” and opening for Beaz will be Dan Whitehurst, a 1980 graduate of Camden Central High School.

His opening comedian, Whitehurst, worked at Emerson Electric in Paris as a young man and attended UTM … for a bit … Later, Whitehurst worked in law enforcement in Nashville and was voted World’s Funniest Cop in 2001 and Investigator of the Year in Nashville in 2002. He’s been pursuing comedy full-time since 2007, and he’s excited to be performing near Camden, the home-town of his youth.
