Ms. Jonnie B. Tucker, 80, of Henry, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at her residence.
Jonnie B. Richardson Tucker was born Monday, July 5, 1943, in Hollow Rock, Tennessee, to the late John E. Richardson and the late Lucille Gilliam Richardson.
Ms. Tucker was a Baptist by faith.
She was a collector of figurines of all types and enjoyed life.
She married Gene Tucker Friday, July 5, 1996, and he preceded her in death Monday, July 31, 2006.
Besides her parents and husband, Jonnie is also preceded by daughter: Tammy Page; daughter-in-law: Kay Rogers (Jeff’s wife); and sisters: Peggy, Ruth, Carol, and Wanda.
Jonnie is survived by her daughter: Tina Lakem of North Dakota; sons: Tommy Rogers and Jeff Rogers, both of Henry; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Patricia and Shirley; and two brothers: Steve and David.
Her funeral service was held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Irby to officiate.
Burial followed the service in Memorial Cemetery.
Family members and friends served as pallbearers.
Visitation was at McEvoy Funeral Home after 12:00 p.m, Sunday until time of service.
