WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) secured $5,000,000 for the Tennessee Department of Transportation to add more lanes to Highway 641 from Howard Road to the Kentucky state line. Specifically, it will widen US-641 to four-lanes from Paris, Tennessee into Kentucky.
“Widening Highway 641 has been a major priority for Henry County. This expansion will allow for safer and more efficient travel from Henry County into Kentucky,” said Congressman Kustoff. “Updating our highway system is crucial to effectively move people and products across West Tennessee and further into the region. I am glad to be able to provide this much-needed funding that will better connect our state.”
This funding was included in the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act that the House of Representatives passed on March 6, 2024.
