MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel softball program has a new look this season. The Lady Wildcats have a newly renovated locker room.

First year Head Coach Katherine Hannagan explained, “When I arrived at Bethel, I saw an opportunity to raise the bar, make a lasting difference in the lives of my athletes, the softball program, and the community around McKenzie. I believe to be successful in what you do you have to first establish a foundation of pride and ownership. Stacking small wins and accomplishments to achieve great feats. That all starts with making your bed. Our bed at Bethel softball is our facilities. The renovation of our locker room was a part of that mindset. It was a team effort, and it will be a team effort to maintain the new foundation we are building brick by brick at Bethel.” Hannagan added, “I would also like to highlight that the renovation was an out-of-pocket expense. By giving back to our team, I believe that the ownership and pride we are taking over our program will trickle into the win column in every facet. A special thank you to the maintenance crew for repairing the ceiling and lights, my husband Adam, my assistant Ally, and her brother Collin for the hours they gave to our girls and the effort they put into our locker room. Go Wildcats.”
