Paris, Tenn.–The PLUS grants keep on giving.
Biology Students at E.W. Grove School in Paris conducted a gel electrophoresis lab yesterday with equipment purchased through a PLUS grant. This was molecular rainbow gel electrophoresis. They will be running DNA using this technique in an upcoming unit. PLUS grants provide teachers the opportunity to think beyond the regular curriculum and provide programs for students that give something extra to learning. Teachers said, “We are thankful for Plus grants and support of our community to make learning engaging and fun!”
