Helping Hand Total Now At $358,352

Paris, Tenn.–The year-to-date grand total is now at $358,352 for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, with the $7,455 raised today by the Springville community, World’s Biggest Fish Fry, AHC Healthcare and Doghouse Rescue. Auctioneer was Dr. Ray Compton, with the Paris Rotary members manning the phones. There were 16 slates of donations today.

Saturday will be one of the biggest days, with the Tennessee Valley Community Church donating items. The auction will be an all-day auction, with no night auction.

During the week, auctions begin at 12:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, auctions begin at noon.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
