
Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter will recognize four companies in Northwest Tennessee that have been in business for 100 years or more on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He will be at Tiptonville, Halls and Ripley in the afternoon.
TNECD is paying tribute to many of Tennessee’s centennial companies, beginning with those located in counties that were designated by the Appalachian Regional Commission as distressed in FY 2019, the first year of the Lee administration. The counties include Lake, Lauderdale, Hardeman, McNairy, Perry, Grundy, Bledsoe, Van Buren, Jackson, Clay, Fentress, Morgan, Scott, Cocke and Hancock.
Commissioner McWhorter will make stops in Tiptonville, Halls and Ripley, Tennessee, on Thursday at the following locations and times:
