Paris, Tenn.–Build it and they will come, indeed. Some $10,000 was raised and a huge crowd was on hand Saturday morning for the pancake breakfast for ABLE Farms, the successor to the long-running Hoofbeats of Hope program in Henry County. The breakfast–which included pancakes, eggs, sausages, juice and coffee–was served at the Enoch Building at the county fairgrounds.

Founder Dr. Kyle Stephens told RadioNWTN after the breakfast, “We’re estimating 450 people. I don’t know an exact number but we raised just over $10,000 with all the money given. With it being our first pancake breakfast, we didn’t really know what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful for this community.

ABLE Farms will be a therapeutic riding experience for kids and adults in Henry County and is located at 1100 Sulphur Well Academy Rd. The program slogan, “ABLE Stables, Where Hoof Beats of Hope are Heard!” says it all.
