Missing Man’s Body Recovered In Obion County

Obion County, Tenn.–The body of the Troy man who has been missing since early in January was recovered today.
The body of Charles Baldridge, age 62, of Troy, was found by the Obion County Sheriff’s Office today around noon. He was recovered from a creek that is south of Rives in Obion County.
Even though daily searches were suspended earlier, deputies and other law enforcement continued looking for Baldridge, especially since rain had been in the forecast for this weekend.
According to the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Deputy Matt Woods and deputy Caleb Hayden found Baldridge’s body in an area that is some eight to 11 feet deep.
Baldridge had been missing since Jan. 8, according to the TBI.
Area law enforcement had joined the extensive search efforts which were by foot, water, and air and included K9s.
His truck had been found crashed into a ditch January 27 and his wallet was found a few days later.
