Mrs. Kathy J. Jones, 75, owner of Jones Grocery, Greenfield, and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church died Monday, February 5, 2024, at Weakley County Nursing Home.
She was born in Martin Wednesday, July 21, 1948, to Fred McCalister and Nora Bell Bills Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Paul Jones; and her siblings: Carolyn Crews, David McCalister, and Stanley McCalister.
She is survived by her three sons: Lee (Lori) Gilliam, of Greenfield, Dwayne (Stephanie) Gilliam, of Greenfield, and Robert (Kelly) Jones, of Greenfield; five grandchildren: Lee Gilliam, Ashley Gilliam, Kayleigh Gilliam, Ace Gilliam and Logan Brewer; and three great-grandchildren: Bella Hall, Tripp Hall and Haven Hall.
Funeral services are Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Brocks Cemetery, Greenfield, Tennessee.
