rives-search

Rives, Tenn.–The search for missing 62-year-old Charles Baldridge of Troy shifted to the Rives area today, prompting the Rives Volunteer Fire Department to warn everyone, “There’s is a lot of traffic in Rives today. Please slow down and use caution when passing through town.”

Baldridge has been missing since January 8 and the search for him intensified over the weekend when his truck was found in a ditch at Highway 51 and Walker Tanner Rd. in Union City. Search efforts have been continuous since then, with multiple agencies involved.

Today, teams were searching the area of Highway 45 West, running Hoosier Creek back around Rives and a command post was set up at the Rives fire station. The Madison County Fire Department joined the search with its mobile command center.
Baldridge was on his way to work at the Obion County Highway Department January 8 when he disappeared amid wintry conditions.
