Murray, Ky.–A Murray man was arrested after an assault which included strangling a woman.
On Sunday, Jan 28, at approximately 7:30 am deputies responded to a residence on Buddy Lane in Murray. The victim said Kevin Hopkins kept her against her will, physically assaulted her and grabbed her by the neck cutting off her airway where she could not breathe.
He was not located that night and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On Monday, January 29, 2024, he was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center on the below listed charges from that warrant.
