Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $157,114

Paris, Tenn.–With the $4,825 raised today, the new grand total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is $157,114.

Today’s items were donated by Joe Mahan Ford, First Presbyterian Church, New Boston community, the Holly Women’s Club and the Trinity United Methodist Church. Auctioneer was Junior Staggs and the Kiwanis Club manned the phones.

Wednesday’s items will be donated by the Mansfield community, Christ Luthern Church, Johnson Chapel and the Carl Perkins Center. Auctioneer will be Amy Veazey and the Paris Lions Club will be on the phone panel.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
