Helping Hand Radio Auction Total Now Up To $152,289

Paris, Tenn.–With the $3,442 raised today, the new grand total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $152,289.

Donating items today were New Harmony Church, the Heritage Center, the Paris-Henry County Historical Society, the HCHS Band Boosters and Inman Band. Auctioneer was Ray Compton and the Athena Delphian club manned the phones.

Tuesday’s items will be donated by Joe Mahan Ford, First Presbyterian Church, New Boston community, the Holly Women’s Club and the Trinity United Methodist Church. Auctioneer will be Junior Staggs.

Wednesday’s items will be donated by the Mansfield community, Christ Luthern Church, Johnson Chapel and the Carl Perkins Center.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
