Daniel Eric Asher, 40, of Buchanan, Tennessee, died Friday, January 26, 2024, at his dad’s residence.
Daniel was born Wednesday, April 13, 1983, in Paris, Tennessee, to Eric (Sharon) Asher, who survives, of Buchanan, Tennessee, and Frieda Houston Asher (Eddie) Carpenter, who survives, of Henry, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Duane & Gretchen Asher, and Paul & Annie Sue Houston.
He graduated from Henry County High School and went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Daniel became disabled by the cancer that he endured for a long season of his life.
He enjoyed going to the library and was an avid reader.
Along with his mother and father, he is also survived by his brothers: Zachary (Ashley) Asher, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, and Matthew Carpenter, of Clermont, Florida; his sisters: Whitney Carpenter, of Conway, Arkansas, and Stacey (Mike) Henderson, of Alcoa, Tennessee; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
