Paris, Tenn.–As reported on our website earlier this week, the Henry County Courthouse Annex has experienced issues with the telephone system there. The phone system has become difficult to maintain in several county offices due to the age.
Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway has announced temporary phone numbers county residents can use to contact offices located within the Annex, located at 213 W. Washington St.
Mayor Ridgeway suggests if you call the current listed number to one of the offices in the annex and cannot get through, please use the alternative numbers provided for mobile cell phones being put in use until a new system currently on order can be installed.
Ridgeway said, “We have already gone through the process of research and have taken new phone system proposals. A vendor has been chosen and we are now awaiting equipment delivery and installation of the new telephone system for several county buildings including the Annex. We will have the original numbers back in service when the install is complete in the next 4-6 weeks. Right now the Courthouse Annex and Recycling Center are experiencing some telephone issues. Recycling Center is waiting for line repairs.”
