Helping Hand Grand Total $136,735; Looks Ahead To Whitlock Day

Paris, Tenn.–With the $4,835 raised Friday, the grand total of the Henry County Helping Hand is now at $136,735. Donating items was the Clifty community, the Rescue Squad, Air Evac, Relay for Life and Henry County CASA. Today’s auctioneer was Andy Collins, with the Rotary manning the phones.

Saturday will be another big day, with the Whitlock community donating items. Wendy Barnhart will be the auctioneer. Saturday’s auction begins at noon.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
