Paris, Tenn.–Ever wonder what it’s like to be a law enforcement officer? Do you enjoy watching cop shows and true crime documentaries? Are you curious about how things are done in the legal system of Paris and Henry County?
If so, the Paris Police Department has an opportunity for you. Stop by either the Paris-TN Police Department or the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and pick up your application to be a part of the upcoming Citizen’s Police Academy.
This informative class runs for approximately 10 weeks and will be held on Tuesday nights from 6 to 9 pm. Any questions, feel free to message the Paris Police Facebook page or stop by to get your application and ask in person.
Deadline to apply is February 29. Assistant Police Chief Ean Reed said class should begin in early to mid-March.
