Starks Honored For 40 Years Service To Rescue Squad; Officers Elected

Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Henry County Rescue Squad held its annual election of officers for 2024, with familiar faces being re-elected and elected. Awards for outstanding service were given, with a special award given to Monte Starks for his 40 years of service with the squad.

Danny Tucker was re-elected as Captain, Diann McGuire retained her position as Sgt-Treasurer, along with
Angie Case as Sgt.-Secretary. Dwayne Duncan was re-elected as Sgt.-Maintenance and
continuing as Sgt-Public Information officer is Stacey Duncan. Grant Roach was elected as
First Lieutenant and Kelly Corbitt was re-elected as Second Lieutenant.

Michael Guffy was elected as Unit Director, and Martin Baucum was elected as Chaplin for the squad.

Following the election, awards were given for outstanding service over the past year. Micheal Guffy
received Squad Member of the year, and Nikki Guffy was awarded for having the Most
Volunteer hours. Aaron Little, received the award for Trainee Member of the year.
A special award was given to Monte Starks for his 40 years of service with the squad.
