UPDATE: The person of interest, William McNeal, has been detained for questioning. Sheriff McDade emphasized the investigation is still ongoing.
Greenfield, Tenn.–The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a person of interest in the death of a woman in a Greenfield residence today.
Sheriff Terry McDade said they are seeking William McNeal.
On January 20, 2024, the Greenfield Police Department and Weakley County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the city limits in regards to a deceased female located inside a residence.
Upon arrival, officers located a female (Krista Davis) lying on the kitchen floor with severe trauma wounds to her face and chest.
McDade said as of this time, the person of interest in this case is William McNeal, W/M, 6ft, 290lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes possibly driving a black 2015 Ford Escape with a TN tag# 366-BBTH.
