Union City, Tenn.–Two dozen students from the third and fourth grade at Union City Elementary School were rewarded last week with a trip to Discovery Park of America as part of the school’s Discovery Kids program.
UCES faculty and staff nominated the deserving students who enjoyed a fun-filled day after their exemplary behavior over the second nine weeks of the 2023-24 school year.
The honorees – many of whom wore purple shirts to show their Tornado Pride – had been lauded by school staff for displaying excellent behavior, character, and classroom work ethic.
The students explored the many exhibits at the park and were accompanied by school personnel, who chaperoned the day’s activities.
