Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has released more details on the weather-related death of a Henry County man Wednesday. A preliminary article about the death was posted on our website and Facebook pages yesterday.
At approximately 8:12 am Wednesday, the Henry Co. Sheriffs Office responded to a call for service at 25 Palestine Rd involving a subject laying on the ground and not breathing.
Upon arrival deputies found Aaron Hoover laying on the ground beside his vehicle and he was deceased, according to Sheriff Josh Frey.
The Criminal Investigation Division responded to begin the investigation. The investigation is ongoing but it appears that Hoover had exited his vehicle while it was still running and slipped and fell in the snow and could not get back up. It is believed that Mr. Hoover died from exposure and no foul play is suspected at this time.
Hoover was sent for an autopsy. If anyone has any information about Hoover on the night of 01-16-2024, whether you spoke with him or saw him Please contact the Henry Co. Sheriffs Office Criminal Investigation Division to speak with an investigator
