Paris, Tenn. – Due to the inclement weather and the closure of the courthouse offices, Henry County General Sessions Criminal Court is cancelling court for Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Those who have court cases scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and are represented by an attorney, should contact their attorney to ask about their new court date(s).
Those who are representing themselves without an attorney are rescheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
No new subpoenas or summons will be issued related to the cancellation. It will be the responsibility of the defendant to contact their attorney or the court clerk to learn of their new date.
There is no Circuit Court or Juvenile Court planned for this week in Henry County, so no rescheduling is necessary.
