Michael Ray Cole, 67, of Puryear, Tennessee, died Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his residence.
Michael was born Tuesday, January 1, 1957, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Roy Lee Cole and Janie Buie Underwood, who survives, of Puryear, Tennessee. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ronnie Cole and Jody Cole.
He was a longtime truck driver driving for Kesterson Food Company, MBL, and D&G Trucking.
Michael was a hard worker who enjoyed working in his garden and working as a mechanic.
He loved spending time with his family.
He was married Saturday, August 24, 1991, to Carolyn Louise Brisendine, who survives, of Puryear, Tennessee.
Along with his wife and mother, he is also survived by two daughters: Tina (Ricky) Tanner, of Puryear, Tennessee, and Jennifer (Steven) Piontek, of Mayfield, Kentucky; one stepdaughter: Christina (Joel) Hutson, of Puryear, Tennessee; four sisters: Carol (Danny) Clark, of Paris, Tennessee, Rebecca (Keith) Turner, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Annette (Bill) Frampton, of Paris, Tennessee, and Teresa Cole, of Paris, Tennessee; two brothers: Bubba (Weebee Robinson) Cole, of Paris, Tennessee, and Gary Cole, of Buchanan, Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.
Cremation will follow the service.
