
Paris, Tenn.–And just like that, the grand total raised so far this year in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is up to $46,239.
Saturday was a BIG day, with the Pleasant Hill community raising $16,410. The HCHS Boys & Girls Soccer Teams volunteered today, helping donors bring their items from their cars.
Helping Hand officials plan to be open on Monday, but if weather forces it to be closed, they will announce it on their Facebook page and website. And, we will announce it on the radio and on our website and Facebook pages.
Items Monday will be donated by the W.G. Rhea Library, LI Smith and Associates, the Arts Council and Master Gardeners.
Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
