Paris, Tenn.–A crew from Baptist Hospital–Carroll County met with their friends at the Henry County Office on Aging Thursday and discussed diabetes in seniors, along with ideas on ways to manage the disease.
Baptist-Carroll County is proud to offer a Diabetic Education Program to Tennessee residents recently diagnosed with diabetes.
The program gives patients the tools they need to manage the disease. Your individualized plan of care may include nutritional counseling, exercise plans, physical therapy, glucose monitoring, group classes on healthy eating and other lifestyle modifications, diabetes medications and insulin, and ways to prevent complications.
