Marion, Ohio–A woman whose partially decomposed body was found in a drainage ditch in Ohio last week has been identified as an Obion County, Tennessee woman.
The Ohio BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) has positively identified the woman as Darcy Hooper of South Fulton. She was 40 years old.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report on January 5 of a possible deceased woman found in a drainage ditch. When officers arrived, they found a woman who was dead and lying partially submerged in the ditch.
An autopsy is being performed by the Lucas County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
